SEASHORE
CONSTRUCTION, INC. is pleased to announce the completion of a 48,000 sq. ft. ground-up building for TOYS R US in Porter Ranch, CA.
This one story facility is constructed of block walls with custom
storefront colors to appeal to the kids generation. Plaster arched
parapet walls top off the 3-sided facade with the TOYS R US
insignia and Geoffrey, their mascot giraffe. Interior lighting system selected was
energy efficient two-tube fluorescent fixtures with
high-tech reflectors. Roofing structure is metal trusses with welded metal
decking. Exposed roof material is clay tile to soften the look and add a
"Spanish California" warmth.
Project duration from "ground breaking" to "grand opening"
was nineteen weeks.

Linda
Evans Fitness Centers
Seashore Construction Inc. has completed
construction on three Linda Evans Fitness
Centers. These approximately 7,550 square foot
workout facilities are designed exclusively
for women.
At a cost of
nealry $180,000 each, these facilities were
developed for Linda Evans from existing
multiple tenant buildings. Seashore provided
demolition services, structural reinforcement,
new electrical services for combines spaces,
full locker rooms, shower facilities,
reception and business offices.

Pacific
Business Interiors
Seashore remodeled this 40,000 square foot
warehouse and office into a beautiful
showroom, business office, manufacturing and
distribution center. Pacific Business
Interiors displays new furnishings and
refurbishes within their facility, previously
owned commercial furnishings that range from
ergonomic seating to panel furniture systems.
The project
required restroom renovations to comply with
ADA regulations as well as building out the
space with custom finish materials which
included corrugated sheet metal wallcovering,
glass block, and custom color paint finishes
to enhance the interior "stepped
wall" vignettes.

Pioneer
Electronics
Pioneer Electronics occupied the balance of
the building where Seashore Construction
performed tenant construction for their 20,000
square feet. In addition to the tenant
improvements, Seashore installed seismic
structural retrofitting and re-roofed the
entire 60,000 square foot building.

PROJECT SCOPE:
The retail remodel is representative of the extra-ordinary coordination of the tenant and
owner requirements associated with the ongoing operation of a shopping mail environment.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
Custom millwork, beveled glass and marble tile floors.

Cable Television Studio
SPECIAL FEATURES:
State of the art production and broadcasting facility incorporating open ceiling duct
work, specialty lighting, radius glass walls, acoustically engineered glass, drywall and
applied soundproofing, full height sliding partitions, cantilevered soffits and ceiling
grid system of stainless steel.
